Moni contacted us in November 2025 because she wanted to buy her own home.<\/p>\n

Proving the deposit.<\/p>\n
The deposit came from the sale of a property in Hungary, and although every required document was available, proving a foreign source of funds can still be an extremely long and complicated process.<\/p>\n
That is why we always say that if someone wants to use a deposit that does not originate from the UK, we should talk before they even start looking for a property. It can save a huge amount of time and unnecessary stress.<\/p>\n
In Moni’s case, both proving the deposit and finding the right property took several months. Finally, in the middle of April, the mortgage offer arrived, and from that point everything started moving much faster. The solicitors completed their work, we arranged the necessary insurance policies, and in the middle of July she was finally able to collect the keys to her new home.<\/p>\n
On social media, people only see the smiling photo at moments like this. What they do not see are the years of hard work, saving, sacrifices and endless patience behind it. Nobody sees the anxious waiting, the constant paperwork, the uncertainty, or those moments when you genuinely start to believe that the whole process will never come to an end.<\/p>\n
That is what makes the moment of finally holding those keys so special. Because they do not just open the door to a new home \u2013 they also mark the end of a long journey filled with perseverance, determination and sacrifice.<\/p>\n
