Dori contacted us in October 2025 with the exciting goal of purchasing her own home. At first everything sounded very good, so naturally we told her that she came to the right place. 🙂
However, as we reviewed what she described in her first email, it quickly became clear that there was an important obstacle: Dori was working on a zero-hour contract, and on top of that, not for long enough yet for the banks to accept it for a mortgage application. We honestly told her that in order for us to truly be able to help, she would need a permanent, full-time job.
Dori, however, did not waste any time. She immediately started looking for new opportunities, but in the end a really positive turn happened: her current workplace took her on with a permanent contract. Honestly, we could not have wished for a better scenario, because there was no probationary period, the income source did not change either, meaning that in the eyes of the banks this became the most stable solution possible. 🙂
From that point everything moved much more smoothly, although naturally a huge amount of time was still spent on proving the deposit and finding the right property. The mortgage offer itself, however, ended up being surprisingly easy, and by March 2026 the offer was already in hand.
From that point the events truly accelerated, and in May Dori was already able to collect the keys to her new home. 🙂
Of course, there were still smaller and bigger complications along the way this time as well. There was also a non-compliant and threatening seller in the story, but unfortunately we are already quite used to situations like this. It is rare when a property purchase goes completely without problems.
What is truly interesting, however, is that looking back throughout the entire process we exchanged only 56 emails with Dori, which in the case of such a relatively complex case is unbelievably few. This was mainly possible because Dori was incredibly precise, focused and cooperative throughout the entire process. She always replied exactly to what we asked, and she always sent only the document that was actually needed. We can honestly say that it was a pleasure working with her. 🙂
Congratulations Dori, and we wish you a lot of happiness in your new home! 🏡
